Importance: Dr. Sidney L. Geer, a dentist, had his office here. In the basement he manufactured Rose Pearl Dentifrice. Tons of this product were shipped annually throughout the The building itself is a well - preserved example of eclecticism characteristic of late- 19th centuy American architecture. Although Romanesque in character the building so shows the influence of both the High Victorian Gothic and even the Queen Anne style.
